La Graciosa – 24th February 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well it was no La Graciosa. I schlepped to the port and all the sailings were cancelled, the wind being much too strong. There was a possibility that they might run one around 10.30 but couldn’t guarantee it or say when, if it did run, what time the return would be. Oh well. I’ve been very lucky and not lost a day to the weather so far in all my trips. So, will have to suck it up.
I might get a go at La Graciosa when I do Fuerteventura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Graciosa in the distance misted in rain. The large volcano on the left falling directly into the sea was to be the major challenge but even if I could get there prob dangerous up the top in the wind.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Was going to head along the coast for a few hours but it is cold and starting to rain and given that I’d have to struggle into the wind on the return, I think I’ll just go back to Orzol\u00e1 and get the bus to Arricef\u00e9 and watch the rugby.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Well, not a brilliant finish but these things will happen. I noticed one of those Chinese buffet places on the way back from the bus station so will give it a blast for luncho.
